While it sounds like the long awaited Windows Phone port of the popular free VLC media app won't be out anytime soon, the team at VideoLAN is still working on their update for the Windows 8.1 app.
Today, we got some new screenshots from their latest build of that app. The screenshots show lots of changes to the UI design in the app, including the Home screen
You can see the new look of the music menus in the next few screenshots
There's also some changes on the video menu as well and you can also see how the video player looks
Finally, you can see how the VLC update for Windows 8.1 looks in Snap mode.
