The highly anticipated Start Menu was shown off today during the Windows 10 unveil. It is similar to how it was in Windows 7, but does incorporate the live tiles from Windows 8. Microsoft hopes this compromise will quell some of its critics and please their enterprise customers.
The new start menu comes with new customizability options. A new video shows off the ability to resize the start menu. A user can simply use their mouse to drag the start menu to the desired height or width. This is likely to be a well received feature by power users. You can try it for yourself tomorrow when the Windows 10 Technical Preview bits go live.
