Enabling Lumia Living Images and saving as a 720p video

Living images is a very cool feature of Nokia Camera, which allows you to not only capture an image, when you press the shutter or camera button, but also captures a small video of the subject, starting seconds ago till the “moment of image capture”.

So, in case you are wondering, how to capture “Living images” here's how :)

1. enable your Lumia to capture Living images:

Open the Nokia Camera >Go to Settings >Put Living images capture set as on. You can also enable play Living images on, so that when you go to Gallery from Nokia Camera, these automatically play for you.

1) In your photo gallery, you will see only the image, but when you go to gallery from Nokia Camera, you see Living images play.

2) When you sync to PC using “Windows Phone app for desktop”, you just get the captured image, but you can access the Living images file by browsing the files.

2. How to save the Living images as 720p videos on your Phone or PC?

1. Goto The Camera Roll folder through PC or “Files”, the official Windows Phone File manager

2. All you need to do is to rename this file as .mp4 by deleting .thm and you have a 720p video file of your Living image.
