As announced in July, Bungie’s next-generation, first-person shooter “Destiny” beta is now available to Xbox One and Xbox 360 users. The actual game will be released on September 9 for both the platforms. You need beta access code to try this beta. If you don’t have time to try out, Microsoft has posted a video showing must-see sights in the Destiny Beta. Check it out above.
Features:
The Tower: This is where you’ll meet up with other players, cash in your sweet loot, buy class-specific items and ships, level up, store stuff in your personal vault, check the bounty board, and make preparations for your next ass-kicking expedition. The Character Screen: There are a lot of choices you get to make about what you kit yourself out with in terms of weapons and armor, so remember to head to your character screen, where you can compare two items’ stats and choose what’s best for you. You can also dismantle stuff that you don’t need – this gives you money and crafting components so that you can make some cool upgrades for yourself later on. You can also review your stats, and decide how you want to build your character. The Ability Screen: Each class and subclass has tons of abilities to unlock, which you can check out on the ability screen. The Destiny beta’s level cap is 8, but you can keep unlocking new abilities even after you hit the cap.Chests: You’ll find lots of loot chests in the world. Keep an eye out for the golden chests – find them all, and you may get a cool reward! The Cosmodrome: Don’t forget to visit here once you’re done with all the beta’s main missions; the Cosmodrome is a great source of side-quests, so you can keep earning experience, money, and gear.
