Nokia today announced an update for HERE Maps for Nokia X devices with new usability improvements. Another key update is the support for global navigation which was earlier supplied only on premium Lumia devices.
New improvements in this version,
- The first time app experience was improved. Instead of lots of wizards for performing various tasks, they have now simplified it and also you can skip them in few taps.
- They have updated the app when there is slow internet and poor GPS connections. The app will now display appropriate messages instead of going blank.
- They have improved satellite imagery.
- Changed the HERE user registration page.
