Nokia today updated the HERE Maps for Windows 8.1 app with new features and the app is now available globally. Check out the list of new features in this release apart from under the hood improvements.
- Manual Positioning: You can now manually set your location under settings menu. You can switch between Automatic and Manual positioning modes.
- Nokia has redesigned the City pages to bring more relevant and more exploration to the foreground. You can explore cities in the new City page and see detailed weather forecast.
- You can now change your route plans by selecting/de-selecting modes of transport to avoid Ferries, etc,. You can also add waypoints to your route.
