Over the last weekend, we reported about a new feature in Cortana that lets you explore places nearby. Under ‘Interests’, you can now add ‘Best Nearby’ option in Cortana. Once you have added it, Cortana will recommend you the places worth visiting nearby you. The recommendation service is powered by Foursquare in which Microsoft has invested over $15 million.
When you tap the places recommended to you, Foursquare app will be opened to show more details like photos, reviews and more about the place.
