WWE 2K15 launch on Xbox One delayed till November 18, Xbox 360 launch remains unaffected

WWE 2K15, the forthcoming version of popular wrestling title won’t be releasing next month. The game was previously set to arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 28 and October 31 (different regions), but now it will arrive on November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe.
The date revision doesn’t affect title’s Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 launch, as they will still get the game on October 28 in North America, and October 31 in Europe.
“Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles,” said Visual Concepts president Greg Thomas, President. “The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”
At this point it is uncertain why the launch data has been postponed. But it could be because of talks between wrestler CM Punk’s lawyers and game publisher 2K’s. Punk left WWE in January this year despite being under contract. He was in discussion with 2K to feature him in the game somehow.
