There has been a lot of damage control over the last week from Apple about their bendy phone, with Apple even showing the media their testing labs, where phones get tested to withstand a maximum of 25 kg (50 pounds) which is ironically about the weight of a young child.
It seems however the iPhone 6+ is not designed to withstand rampaging teenagers, with two UK teens in the above video going to an Apple store and demonstrating live on video that it does not take a muscle man or extraordinary strength or force to bend Apple’s phablet.
While we do not condone the actions of these clearly hooligan-like youth, it does clearly demonstrate that many more than 9 people will face issues with bent smartphones due to Apple’s obsession with style over function
