Back in June, Apple CEO Tim Cook made a visit to Apple’s factory in the USA where they are producing few Mac models. During inspection, Tim Cook tweeted a photo showing a worker doing his job at the factory. It was revealed that iMac were running Windows XP in the production line.
After the famous iPhone 6 Plus bend gate issue, as part of damage Apple invited few journalists to show how they are doing durability tests on iPhone in their factories. CNBC posted the above photo they shot at Apple’s factory. As you can see in the photo above, Windows XP machines are used to perform durability tests in Apple’s factories.
So, majority of the Apple products are produced with the help of decade old Windows XP OS from Microsoft.
