Samsung Has Now Stopped The Sales Of Its Windows Laptops And Chromebooks In Europe

Over the past two years, Samsung has gradually reduced its presence in the PC market. This year, they have only handful of PC models on sales in many markets and the only notable PC in their lineup is Samsung Ativ 9 Plus. Earlier this month, Samsung confirmed that they have stopped selling notebook PCs in the German market which includes both Windows laptops and the new Chromebooks. Now, they have confirmed that the sales of their laptops and Chromebooks have been stopped in whole of the European market.
“We quickly adapt to market needs and demands. In Europe, we will be discontinuing sales of laptops including Chromebooks for now. This is specific to the region – and is not necessarily reflective of conditions in other markets,”
“We will continue to thoroughly evaluate market conditions and will make further adjustments to maintain our competitiveness in emerging PC categories,” added the spokesperson.
