Kickstarter Bluetooth-enabled Padlock supports Windows Phone

There is a new Bluetooth Low Energy Gadget on Kickstarter which has already raised more than half a million dollars.
The Noke is a padlock which is powered by Bluetooth Low Energy and your smartphone, and which enables you to open and lock it without a key.
Being smartphone powered users are also able to share virtual “keys” to friends and family which can also be revoked in the future.
They lock also includes a morse-code like code which allows owners to unlock it even when their smartphone runs out of power.  The device itself is powered by a watch battery and will last longer than a year on one charge.
The padlock supports iOS, Android and also Windows Phone 8.1 with Bluetooth 4.0.
The kickstarter fundraiser has already raised more than $569,000, 5 times its original goal, and has only 3 more days to run.  By buying in now backers can get the device for $30 below the eventual $89 retail price. The padlock is expected to be delivered by Spring 2015.
