After wining a prize for The Best Windows Phone 8.1 app in the Microsoft //Publish/ competition, Aerize Explorer is now available as a free file manager for Windows 8.1, with premium features available for additional purchase. Aerize Explorer has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the press including, Windows Phone Daily – ‘fantastic’, wpxbox – ‘Must have’, WinBeta – ‘Beautiful’, wpextra – ‘Best’, and winadictos – ‘Amazing’.
Initially released in beta form, Aerize Explorer can be installed directly from theWindows Store. The interface has been targeted to the Windows 8.1 touch interface, and allows easy selection of files or folders from a simple swipe gesture. Tablets aren’t the only devices supported however, with desktop and non touch devices supported with right clicks and traditional interactions.
