Google and Asus may well release a new version of Google Nexus 7, this time with 32GB storage, just in time for Christmas, according to a tip we received.
We’ve been told by someone with close links to Argos, the popular high street UK retailer, that the 32GB Nexus 7 will appear in its Christmas gift guide, which will be launched this week.
Interestingly, the model will sell for £199.99 and will replace the 16GB model, which will no longer be available for sale. One may assume that the 8GB model will continue to cost £159.
That may prove to be a turning point for prospective customers who refrained from buying the tablet because they viewed its 16GB capacity as being inadequate.
The tablet changed the Android tablet market overnight and has caused other manufacturers like Samsung and Acer to either cut down their prices or launch tablets at a similar price.
