Microsoft Updates Skype For iOS With Ability To Do Group Audio Calls

Microsoft today released Skype for iPhone 5.4 update that brings the ability to do group audio calling, a first for Skype on smartphones. If you already have groups on Skype, you have a new call button in the bottom navigation bar to start the group audio call. For now, you can call up to four people on a group audio call. You can see the active people in the group call, add new people, and also remove some if you want. Now, you can turn any call (voice or video) into a group audio call, tap on the “add participant” button during a call, select a contact(s) from your people list and you’re done.
If you’ve not yet downloaded the latest version of Skype for iPhone, you can get the update from the App Store – all you’ll need is iOS 7 or later.
