Microsoft today announced the new Windows Holographic platform. To realize the full power of the Windows Holographic platform, they announce a new head mountable device called HoloLens.
- HoloLens has see-through, holographic lenses.
- It has powerful CPU and GPU
- It has spatial sound
- Advanced sensors
- And new Hologrpahic Processing Unit
It will be availale in Windows 10 release time frame. You need no wires, no phone, no connection to a PC to make use of it.
