If you are a Windows Phone 8.1 user with the developer preview, you may be seeing the resuming/loading screen when opening Cortana using the search button. For some reason, this is only affecting few users, but is quickly becoming an annoyance in everyday usage. When I click the search button to open up Cortana, I see the loading screen popup for a few seconds before letting me speak to Cortana. With the fluidity of Windows Phone, we would expect better and now we can get what we want!
