Microsoft has formed Leap Experience Pioneers (LXP), an in-house games developer working on Kinect games. Recently, the studio revealed its website http://www.lxpstudio.com/ and even posted a video about hiring new people. The are looking for “the most talented and most creative people in the world” with the aim of creating “far future experiences, for inventive hardware”. Both the video and the website is now offline for some reason.
On March 6, 2014, Microsoft filed a trademark via the USPTO for “LXP”. It entered the Trademark Reporting and Monitoring System (TRAM) yesterday, on March 10. It’s a basic 1(b) Intent-to-Use filing for game software, and reads as following:
