The upcoming HTC One for Windows Phone (HTC 6995LVW) has passed through the GSM Global Certification Forum certification.
The Verizon handset includes both CDMA and GSM support, and interestingly besides supporting LTE bands 4 and 13 for Verizon, also supports bands 3 and 7 commonly used in Europe. It also supports band 4 used by AT&T.
Verizon has been shipping some handsets GSM unlocked, opening up the possibility of importing the devices for use on GSM carriers elsewhere.
