Musictastic, the alternative music player for Windows Phone 8/8.1, was updated and has more new features and improvements. Default color selection may not be for everyone, so there are five new varied color themes. Cannot decide which album or artist to play? Just select random and the app chooses music for you.
Search was widely requested features and now you can search among songs by name, artist name or even album name. There is also context menu to play all the song by artist.
Because artists sometimes does not show up (due to operating system bug) you can choose to display genres instead. Another new option in settings allow to disable automatic screen timeout.
