Use
the iPhone's Auto-Brightness feature to automatically alter the
brightness of your touch screen instead of configuring brightness
controls manually. The iPhone's built-in ambient light sensor detects
your lighting conditions and adjusts the screen dimmer accordingly. This
keeps you from having to access the iPhone's settings menu each time
you want to dim or brighten your screen.
- Tap the "Settings" icon.
- Select the "Brightness" tab from the settings page. The brightness preference loads.
- Flip the "Auto-Brightness" switch to the blue "On" position.
- Tap the "Settings" button on the top toolbar to back out to the main settings page.
- Press the "Home" button to return to your home screen.
