Mozilla recently revealed manufacturer support for their new Firefox OS, with ZTE and TCL / Alcatel announcing that they will make handsets available for the platform in 2013.

But what exactly is the Firefox OS? At its heart it runs on a version of Linux, just like Android and very similar to Apple iOS which (like Linux) is derived from Unix. Joining them in the Unix/Linux based OS world are Maemo, Moblin, LiMo, MeeGo, Tizen and Bada. So clearly, this platform seems to be a good one to run mobile devices on.

It can be difficult for common users to understand the complex process of creating an unattended installation disk (that requires for no manual interference during operating system installation), add custom wallpapers, themes, screensavers and other components to a Windows 7 disc. 

Ubuntu 10.10 is the latest Free Operating System released under the brand name. Ubuntu is a distribution OS built upon Linux so if you want to give Linux OS a try, Ubuntu is not a bad choice.

Since Linux is open source software, you can edit too and that’s how Ubuntu came into existence.

I got to know about Ubuntu from a YouTube Channel Coverless Tech, that guy was explaining something about Linux and I found it quite interesting so I decided to give it a shot and installed Ubuntu on my PC.
