It may seem for the price it commands, Lumia 532 is perhaps the unbeatable package here, because of its processor, cameras and unique features like Glance screen. Lumia 530 is better than Lumia 435 in terms of quad-core processor and 5 MP camera but Lumia 435 beats it with its 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and FFC. So it may be better to go for Lumia 435, if you want better app availability, while for camera Lumia 530 may be better.

Two new Window 10 for Phones features you may not know about

1) That expandable action center is great and also the fact that you can access so many quick-access buttons by expanding it. But if you long press on any of these quick-access button it will take you to the settings of that button. For example in above screenshot I long pressed on “Brightness” quick action button to go to “Brightness” settings.
2) If you copy text and then lock your phone on Windows 10 for Phones you don’t loose it. What that means you can unlock your phone and can still find the text copied and retained to clipboard to paste it anywhere you want. That looks quite useful.

3)
Download US Engligh Keyboard and get the speech to text option. Its userfriendly and very fast. we love it.

Split View, App Title Bar hover interaction appears in Windows 10 for Phones API documentation

We reported sometime ago via our sources that Split View and Actionable notifications will arrive with Windows 10 for Phones. Actionable notifications are already here with first preview build9941.12498 of Windows 10 for Phones.
Now, split view has appeared in API documentation and as you can see in the above screenshot needs “Windows Phone Threshold” or Windows 10 for Phones as the minimum requirement.

SplitView class

Represents a container with two views; one view for the main content and another view that is typically used for navigation commands.
Application view Title Bar API reveals some enhancements and even hints at hover interaction and while we have reported it appearing in Windows 10 Desktop APIs, it is supported for Windows 10 for Phones now, reveal the documentation.

XDA developer trick to install Windows10Preview on all Windows 8 Phones

An XDA developer has created a process that tricks the Windows Insider app into thinking any Windows 8 phone is viable for the preview. Essentially it fools the app into thinking that the phone is a Lumia 635, which allows it to download and install the Windows 10 Technical Preview for Phones.
However, doing this process requires the user to change the phone's id, and initial reports indicate that if you are successful upgrading to Windows 10, minor updates through 'phone update' setting are not accessible; to get any minor updates requires repeating the 17 step walkthrough, you also have to know the correct country code for your device which requires a bit of googling or luck, if it's already mentioned in the (so far) fourteen page thread.
Despite the complicated process, people have reported being able to upgrade their HTC 8X and One M8 for Windows as well as Huawei variants; the hack also does not require phones to have a SD-card slot which means the 930, 925 and 920 flagships are 'supported', with people reporting successful upgrades.
Although we strongly advise against this modification, it could be a fun way to test a device that isn't your main phone. But if you don't mind waiting, Microsoft is working hard not only to ensure that more devices get added to the program but that Windows 10 runs more or less smoothly on those devices. Installing it on a wholly unsupported phone might lead to major issues which currently have zero support.

Nokia Software Recovery Tool Updated To v5.0.5

Nokia Software Recovery Tool can help you to reset and recover your phone software at home, if your phone is experiencing software related or software update problems. With Lumia Windows Phone models, you can also use Nokia Software Recovery Tool to recover your phone in case your phone is not responding, it appears to be stuck, or it is not starting. Today, Nokia updated the Nokia Software Recovery tool to v5.0.5 with support for latest products, some bug fixes and layout improvements.
During installation process, it now installs some drivers named ‘Blue Drivers’ and it now displays OS versions of the device  in the below format.
8.10.12393 is now being displayed as 9561.12393
